September 18-th   held an Ask Me Anything session at ICO Speaks telegram chat. From the MoonCake side there was:
Evil Captain Kirk is the CEO of pMoon, he is an anonymous figure of the project, as is the rest of the team. But, the teams’ experience in the industry and adjacent industries shows itself through our connections and outreach. The team at pMoon will have no issue launching and maintaining a successful project as we’ve done it many times before.

                                                 Let’s get started!

Q: pMoon seems to be a fork of the preexisting and successful project Mooncake, what is the relationship between the two?

A:   pMoon is the child of Mooncake, both the team at pMoon and Mooncake are working directly with one another to build both projects up alongside one another. The team at Mooncake agreed to license their contract to us allowing us to launch the exact contract but under a different network (Polygon as opposed to BSC) and a different team.

Q: What makes this contract so unique and sought after?

A:  Mooncake’s contract dedicates 1% of its transaction tax to The Oven. The Oven then swaps these tokens for $CAKE and stakes them in Pancake Swaps manual Cake Syrup Pool. As the staked $CAKE yields more $CAKE a portion of this is restaked for further compounding and the rest is used to buy back and burn Mooncake. The buybacks create a self-sustaining ecosystem that artificially creates volume which is then rewarded to every holder in the form of a proportionate reflection. With the burns, lowering the total supply of Mooncake and subsequently increasing the value of each token.

Q: Who is behind pMoom/how large is your team?

A:  The team at pMoon is all anonymous as we believe actions and expertise express themselves clearly beyond any face attached to the project. With that said we have a very stacked team to ensure pMoon becomes the beauty we envision. Our team consists of a 6 man solidity/hardhat/and open zeppelin-experienced dev team, a 3 man design/UX team, a 4 man operations team, and a 6 man marketing strike team, tallying up to a total of 19 team members.

Q: How do I participate in pMoon?

A:  pMoon has yet to launch publicly, but we are hosting our version of a presale. As with Mooncake, there are founder tickets referred to as a Moontix, the pMoon variant being called a pMoontix. Purchasing and holding a Moontix/pMoontix entitles the owner to 0.3% of every transaction in the form of reflections as well as unique access to the private founder’s channel where the team provides every member alpha calls for pMoon as well as other projects peaking over the horizon. They are currently listed on openseas, we plan to launch when every ticket is sold out – so secure yours while you can here

Q:  What makes buying and holding a pMoontix worth it beyond the reflection and private telegram channel?

A:  To answer this question properly we’ll need to look at the original Moontix. The original moontix sold for 1BNB before Mooncake’s launch and over two months appreciated to a market value of 10BNB. Coming into our deal with Mooncake, we offered our marketing services and expertise as a way to build up both projects – which ensures the original Moontix will continue to appreciate as well as pMoontix. Our goal is to spread the word about Mooncake, and the creation of pMoon is the first step in the process. Purchasing a pMoontix ensures your seat in the ever-growing ecosystem that is the Mooncake family.

Q:  If Mooncakes Oven is reliant on Cake, what is pMoons equivalent seeing as it’s on the Polygon network?

A:  When we were looking at our options for the Polygon equivalent of Cake $QUICK showed itself to be the closest and most effective pair to fuel pMoon’s Oven. $QUICK provides the oven a high yield/return rate to efficiently and quickly load up pMoon’s oven. We are an official partner of Quickswap and an LP pair is in our future to provide our investor base a clean and easy way to compound your pMoon.

Q: How does the pMoon team plan to spread the word of pMoon/Mooncake?

A: Our view of marketing reflects the belief that building a sturdy foundation and providing a sound and innovative project is the first step of any marketing strategy. Since we are licensing the Mooncake contract, we have the unique opportunity to utilize investors of the original Mooncake to act as the ground floor of pMoon as they already understand and trust every figure involved. This gives us the upper hand, as we already have excited investors talking about our project and spreading the word of mouth which is the most valuable marketing asset, and why having a project that excites people is so crucial. Beyond this, we are currently engaging in giveaways, AMAs to help spread the word, and nurturing partnerships that will give us the upper hand behind the scenes.
Q: What if i want to take part in pre-sale? Can you tell me the requirements and How much is minimum buying?

Q: Is this platform suitable for Crypto beginners?Or does it only appeal to professional users?

Q: How can I trust not to rug pull? How many liquidity did you lock and how many months did you lock them?
goes straight to the liquidity pooling in the oven (minus some dev/ops cost).  The OVEN is fail proof and since all transactions are taxed money always reaccumilates back into the OVEN.  We will have audit certificates for the OVEN and the MAIN smart contract we are working on that this weekend as we speak..
Q: But I have a little doubt. Can you please assure us that like other scam projects, there is no possibility of cheating?

A: Join the community here and talk with us, you will know that we are here for the long haul.  If you don’t do your own research you, should – its your money.  https://t.me/mooncakeofficial

Q: What difficulties have you encountered in the development of the MoonCake project so far? How many products have been built on the MoonCake platform that can share some highlights from the project?

A:  Well after alot of due dilligence and auditing the code internally within our teams we decided to license the Mooncake code base and ported it over to POLYGON.  There weren’t any difficulties but there is not enough time in the given day to do dev and marketing.. alot of work goes into an IDO.  Don’t know why people would want to RUG with all the effort that goes into launching a project (almost like part of your soul goes with it).  We are in it for the long haul and make improvements to the user experience, partner within the Polygon ecosystem, and constant development of the OVEN through the partnership with the original team.

ICOSpeaks hosted an AMA Session with the MoonCake Team. That’s all for today.
Thanks to all users who participated.
Thanks, MoonCake for being with us
Thanks, all and see you soon😉
Cheers 🥂
