I grew up in Ecuador and left home at 18, living across the UK, Japan, Luxembourg, and now Dubai. My journey started in traditional finance, working with private equity and real estate funds, but I quickly became obsessed with how blockchain could transform asset ownership. I’ve worn many hats since – investor, advisor, and operator at companies like SwissBorg, Singularity, and IOHK. What drives me is seeing how tokenization can make assets more accessible and liquid for everyone. That’s why I’m excited about what we’re building with OWN – it’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned about bringing real assets on-chain the right way.

Q: What is Own? Can you give us a brief overview?
A: Own is a blockchain built specifically for real-world assets – things like gold, real estate, and treasury products. We’re backed by Fasset, which already operates a regulated exchange with 400,000+ users across emerging markets. Think of us as the infrastructure layer that lets traditional assets trade 24/7 globally with the speed of crypto but the security of regulated finance.
Q: What problem does Own solve in the crypto world?
A: Most crypto exists in its own bubble, disconnected from the $200 trillion of real-world value in traditional markets. We’re building the bridge. Regular people in places like Pakistan or Indonesia can’t easily invest in Apple stock or US treasuries. Own makes that possible while giving these assets the benefits of blockchain – faster settlement, fractional ownership, and programmability. It’s about making real assets work better on-chain than they do off-chain.
Q: How is Own positioned in terms of legal and regulatory compliance?
A: Regulation is built into Own’s DNA. Our parent company, Fasset, holds licenses in several jurisdictions and has been working with regulators since day one. Every asset on Own will be fully KYC/AML compliant, with trusted custody and transparency at every layer. We’re here to build the most credible RWA chain in the space.
Q: What makes Own different from other RWA projects?
A: Regulation isn’t an afterthought for us – it’s our starting point. Fasset holds licenses in nine jurisdictions across emerging markets where most exchanges can’t operate. We’ve spent years building relationships with regulators in the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, and beyond. Every asset on Own follows proper KYC/AML standards with transparent custody. We’re not trying to avoid regulation; we’re embracing it to build something that lasts.
Q: Who is building Own and who are your partners?
A: Own is backed by Fasset and secured by Arbitrum. We’re also collaborating with Gelato for automation and Oro Gold for tokenized commodities. These aren’t just partnerships—they’re product-level integrations.

Q: Where is the project right now in terms of development?
A: We’ve launched early access and are rolling out our mobile wallet. Our RWA integration partners are in place, and our TGE is coming soon. Everything is aligned for a phased public rollout—watch this space.
Q: What’s your vision for Own over the next year?
A: We want Own to be the default home for RWAs on-chain. That means onboarding institutions, retail users, and DeFi protocols. You’ll see lending markets for tokenized treasuries, RWA-backed stablecoins, and global RWA investment tools all on Own.
Q: Why the name ‘Own’?
A: Because that’s the goal—ownership. Whether it’s your assets, your identity, your yield, or your financial future, Own puts the power back in the user’s hands. It’s simple, bold, and universal—just like our mission.

Q: Will there be a token for Own? How can we get it?

Q: How is Own different from RWA tokens like Ondo?
A: Ondo issues RWA tokens. Own builds the infrastructure they should run on. We’re creating the programmable L2 for RWA-native DeFi, not just a single product.
Q: Is this project open to global users?
A: Yes—with region-based compliance. Some RWA access will depend on local regulations, but the Own app and community campaigns are open globally.
Q: What makes Own more user-friendly than other L2s?
A: We built for regular people who don’t care about crypto – they just want better investments. Our app feels like a modern banking app, not a complex trading terminal. You don’t need to know what a blockchain is to use Own. You buy assets with your local currency, they settle instantly, and they’re fully backed by real value. Behind the scenes it’s powered by blockchain, but users just see a simple way to own global assets that wasn’t possible before.
Q: How can creators or builders work with Own?
A: We’re actively looking for partners building in the real asset space. If you’re tokenizing commodities, real estate, carbon credits, or other real-world value, reach out to me directly. We offer technical support, regulatory guidance, and most importantly, distribution to our user base. Q:Are you a global project or local project? At present, which market are you focus on, or is it focused on building and growing to gain customers, users and partners?
A: Yes we are. Our presence is in major countries like Indonesia, Pakistan , UAE, Malaysia and way beyond.
Q:Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not can u tell us, What makes your project different from other projects?

Q:Non-crypto user is very important for mainstream adoption. How you are planning to attract non-crypto users towards your project? Is there any upcoming partnership that will brings non-crypto user and real-use case?
A: Own is beyond web3. It aims to get everyone to web3. Hence RWA. It gets people from both worlds together to use the power of blockchain. It’s a revolution to make sure crypto and web3 isn’t secluded
Q: What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team leading the market?
A: Our distribution advantage. While most blockchain projects launch with zero users, we’re bringing Fasset’s 400,000+ existing customers who already trade real assets.
We’re scaling a proven model with regulatory licenses in markets where competitors simply can’t operate
Q: What is your roadmap plan for this year 2025? Can you share with us?
A: On roadmap. We’re in private testnet now, moving to stealth mainnet by July where we’ll migrate Fasset transactions invisibly to users. Public mainnet launches in October with staking and governance features.
Token generation happens when we reach 50,000+ active wallets and $100M+ in locked value—expected between October and December
Q: What is your top 3 things for priorities in 2025? Could you share some plans for the upcoming year?
A: TGE. Onboarding more and more RWA assets on chain. And making OWN a staple name in RWA world
