Before we go to the first set of questions, could you please do a short self-intro?

My name is Saba and I am one of the co-founders here at Taunt Battleworld. 
I personally come from a Tech background. Starting with esports/gaming then moving to Cryptocurrency in 2017. Starting with Defi then moving deeply into the world of gaming. Taunt Battleworld’s inception actually started with my passion of Zed Run (nft horse racing game and pioneer of P2E).
I am one of 20+ that makes up the world of Taunt Battleworld today and our team isn’t slowing down any time soon.
Both co-founders (Jeff and myself) launched the Amazon esports team and that is actually how we met!
Very well versed in the gaming space.

Anyways I was going to post our socials! especially our discord. We are actively doing sneak peaks, giveaways, and white list spots! Our founders pass NFT drops this weekend and our discord has tripled in the last few days.

Q: Can you tell us about Taunt Battleworld and the inspiration that got it started?


A:  Taunt Battleworld is a NFT fighting game simulator set in an apocalyptic world where the old Gods have turned Earth into their own personal playground called Battleworld. Players will be able to buy a gift that can be used to fight in tournaments and compete for in-game currency.
Our team is composed of veterans from the top game companies in the world like EA, Amazon, Unity, and Virtually Human. Taunt Battleworld’s story originally starts when both co-founders launched Amazon Esports pioneering the world of mobile gaming. The team produced mobile esports tournaments that were aired on CBS Sports and ESPN 2 before getting introduced to cryptocurrency in 2017. Throughout the years of exploring different protocols and blockchains, both founders were really keen on defi going into 2020 before really settling on play to earn and the NFT space. The light bulb moment was when the team stumbled upon Zed-Run. An NFT that had utility beyond art where collectors can compete for prizes. 
Zed run was a nft racing game where users would buy, sell, and trade NFTs. Our team believes putting fighters in the game instead of horses to fight instead of the race would be way more entertaining, give us a lot more flexibility, as well as put us in a position to utilize all our esports and mobile gaming experience. Zed was made in 2017 before that era was established.

Q: What innovative solution is Taunt Battleworld bringing to topple its competitors with similar offerings in the GameFi sector?


A: Taunt Battleworld utilizes a new way to play called “engage-to-earn”. By combining watch-to-earn and predict-to-earn mechanics via patented interactive technology, players will be rewarded in real-time through each step of gameplay. 
PLAY-TO-EARN (Monetization)
Players fight using their NFTs; the most skilled players have a higher chance of winning
WATCH-TO-EARN  (User Acquisition)
Viewers earn tokens for watching fight streams and being a part of the community
PREDICT-TO-EARN ( Retention)
Spectators can predict the outcome of a brawl to win tokens for free. 
The Play-to-Earn space has a huge barrier to entry being the cost of NFTs. Any quality NFT costs hundreds of dollars to mint initially.  With our “Engage to Earn” model just by watching our fights players can earn something of value immediately. This allows them to get into the ecosystem and community faster and ultimately an opportunity to purchase one of our NFTs faster. 
In addition, we will have the ability to join brawls, tournaments, an adventure mode, breeding, and more!



Q: What is the gameplay of Taunt Battleworld?

A: Taunt Battleworld is an NFT fighting game simulator set in an apocalyptic world where the old Gods have turned Earth into their own personal playground called Battleworld. Thousands of the best fighters in the universe have been placed on earth to battle humans in a never-ending war of supremacy. Taunt Battleworld utilizes a new way to play called “engage-to-earn”. By combining watch-to-earn and predict-to-earn mechanics via patented interactive technology, players will be rewarded in real-time through each step of gameplay.
As mentioned gameplay would involve entering your fighter in brawls or tournaments where you can compete for in-game currency. Select boosts, weapons, skins, and other wearables for your fighter based on the rules of engagement of the brawl/tournament. We will also have breeding features called quickening down the line!

Our beta comes out in about a month. This weekend however we will be minting our founder’s pass (we are calling Genesis Skull Pass) that comes with a warrior that can be used for the tournaments/brawls.

Q: What are your plans in the near and in the distant future? Please share the revenue model of Taunt Battleworld?

A: The cool thing about our project is we are really putting emphasis on multiple revenue streams and utility for our in-game currency. We look at our entire ecosystem as a flywheel. In our world, utility focuses on activating in-game items and competition. For example, NFT warriors, skins, weapons, boosts bundles that include the ability to get into tournaments. 
In addition, our focus on live entertainment and experiences for viewers gives us the ability to give more utility through our engagement to earn a strategy. Just by viewing our matches (rumbles) and doing live prediction contests for free, users will be able to earn our in-game currency. It will attract thousands of users into our ecosystem. Then our strategy is to help incentivize those users to be long-term advocates and customers of Taunt by offering a robust loyalty strategy to support the ecosystem long term. For example, holding NFTs, in-game currency, skins, etc… all get you the ability for exclusive items and experiences you cannot purchase. 
We also have a significant plan through unique revenue streams to invest back into our ecosystem directly.
 Through real-world monetization and partnerships with companies like Esports Technologies, we have the opportunity to get more eyeballs on the product and create 2nd screen experiences that will provide monetization opportunities outside the blockchain. Think things like Free to play versions of the game, Fantasy Sports, legalized wagering. We can then use this additional revenue to drive our loyalty initiatives, burning, and buyback strategy.



Q: Today, communities can bring interesting ideas and great partnerships to projects, how important are communities to #PlayTaunt?

A: The community will always be a top priority for Taunt Battleworld. Our team has plenty of experience in blockchain ranging from defi to play-to-earn and the common formula for a successful project is prioritizing the community. Our goal is to create a gaming environment that attracts users from an entry-level to a crypto veteran.  If you have $0 dollars or $1m there will be an experience for you in our ecosystem. 
One of our priorities is continuously driving utility to the Genesis Skull Pass Owners! We will be rewarding the core community, truly treating them as team members and ambassadors of the taunt battle world.



Q: There are so many Gaming projects nowadays in the Crypto space. What makes Taunt Battleworld different from others?

A: Our team is extremely proud of our differentiators because we believe they are not only unique but revolutionary.
As highlighted early we are very bullish on engaging to earn being a real game-changer in the industry. Having the ability to bring so many new users in the ecosystem. Play to earn is not cheap and our ecosystem has an experience for not only the entry-level player but also the whale.
Our team’s incredible background in gaming and blockchain. We are from the gaming industry and understand the needs of users.
Our ability to create live betting in the game with our partnerships.
In our IP and business development deals we have locked up with future fighters in the game.



Q: Taunt Battleworld has signed “Floyd Mayweather” to be a playable NFT character in-game. Can you explain why you chose Floyd Mayweather as your first NFT Character? Apart from real-world fighters from boxing, MMA & wrestling, will you include more interesting characters?

A: Our licensed IP fighters like Floyd Mayweather and Cris Cyborg allow us to reach millions of people in the world. Our plan is to offer a steady cadence of these combat fighters in our NFT drops. Each fighter will be its own marketing tool as they have passionate followings. That’s why we were so excited to get someone like Floyd Mayweather involved this early as our first partner. Floyd without a doubt is the greatest boxer of all time. In the future we are looking to incorporate other influencers as fighters as well that are from the worlds of music and sports as well!
Our goal is to go reach out to other influencers as well. Beyond the ones, we have already partnered with.
Imagine Hulk Hogan, Imagine Undertaker, then move to rap like a rapper such as post-Malone or jack Harlow.

Q: Can you briefly describe your PARTNERSHIP so far and upcoming partnerships? 

A: Our team has a few partnerships we are extremely proud of. 
Our team is composed of several veterans from the largest game companies in the world including Unity, EA, Virtually Human, and Amazon. Because of this we were able to secure top-tier funding and partnerships from VCs like GenBlock Capital, Shima Capital, AU21, and Polygon Studios. 
First would be our data licensing partnership with publicly-traded company Esports Technologies (traded on the NASDAQ $EBET). Taunt Battleword will combine live in-game data and events with the power of Esports Technologies’ unique predictive gaming platform to create new gaming products and 2nd screen experiences for players around the world.
In addition we have signed Floyd Mayweather to be a playable NFT character in the game. He is just the first of many real world fighters from boxing, MMA, and professional wrestling who will appear.



Q:Where can I currently buy Token?


A: Our token will be launching on numerous BEP20 launchpads in the coming month. Immediately after we will be bridging over to ETH as well. Some of the biggest launchpads in the world are eager over the new technology (including polkastarter, bscpad, seedify, gamepad) to name a few.
Q: According to the project’s roadmap- what are your most important next priorities?


A: We have quite a busy next few months coming up. As mentioned earlier we have our first NFT drop on March 8th (presale is March 5th and we are actively giving away WL spots).

Q: What are the benefits of holding your token as long-term investment? Can you tell us about the motivation and benefits for investors to keep your token in the long run?

A: There will be special benefits for our in-game currency holders. As discussed above we have a robust loyalty plan in place to reward all long term token holders through special events, special tournaments, multipliers on rewards and access to lucrative special drops. The in-game currency will be used for not only in game predictions, tournaments, wearables, boosts, weapons, nfts, Staking, breeding,and so much more!
Q: Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progresses and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you have started this project?


A: Our goal is to create the best experience within the gamefi space through our engage to earn model. If you have $0 dollars or $1m there will be an experience for you in our ecosystem.
