Ask Me Anything with Izumi at ICOSpeaks: AMA Summary
March 8-th held an Ask Me Anything session at ICOSpeaks telegram chat. From the Izumi side there was:
First of all, please introduce yourself with us. How and when you have started? How did you get involved in crypto? What is your role in $IZUMI?

Hello, I am Grant, CEO of Izumi World. Izumi World is an NFT-based, geolocation pet battle game where players capture and train magical beasts, known as Izumi, from live-tracked locations in the real world. Ive been involved in crypto since 2015 as an investor. I noticed most play-to-earn games were not utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology so I decided to create the first AAA-quality AR game in this space. Using AR, or Augmented Reality, players will see the beauty of Izumi World projected into their own homes and neighborhoods. AR, through mobile devices, allows for a much more accessible entrance to the metaverse, one without the massive hardware requirements of VR gaming.

Q: Could you please give a brief intro to the key features of Izumi World? What are the advantages offered?
A: Google Maps, where the player is tracked in real-time. Once a player discovers an Izumi, they may attempt to catch it using runes and spells.
Each Izumi has unique traits and abilities in combat. Players will create teams of three Izumi to do battle with others players in a strategic, turn-based RPG-style combat system. Players may compete in three different game modes to earn tokens. The first mode will be Arena: one-on-one battles between players. The second game mode will be the Izumian League: Players will ascend the ranks of the Izumian League by winning bracketed battles and earning points. The third game mode will be Illdalorian League Cup: Top-ranked players from the Izumian League compete for the title of champion in a tournament. Winners of these tournaments will earn tokens and NFTs.
At Izumi World, our focus is to create the highest quality software with the absolute maximum of accessible design and meta-creating depth. What sets us apart from other games in this space is that we have far and away the simplest but deepest design for combat strategy, which enables all kinds of players to become experts from casual to hardcore. Izumi World also has a deep, rich lore that ties into the way that our players interact with the game, which creates an immersive experience like no other crypto game has created before.

Q: How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?
A: Our team at Izumi World is very talented. Some of us have backgrounds in the crypto industry, some of us have backgrounds in the gaming industry, some of us have a background in marketing, and some of us in the economics field. Together we are a very strong team and have put together an amazing project for you guys. Our new CMO has a very incredible background for example:
⁃ Senior advertising manager at Xbox and led the development of central campaign ideas on franchises such as Halo, Gears of War, and more.
⁃ Director of Marketing at Gatorade where he managed an annual budget of 125m.
⁃ Senior Director of Marketing at Samsung where he managed an annual budget of 30m.
⁃ Head of Brand & Innovation Marketing at Verizon.
⁃ Currently a Web3 Marketing Consultant for Rarible since 2021 leading all marketing initiatives for the Rarible Protocol and Rarible DAO.

Q: So how long did it take to develop this project? What plans do you have for the future? And what can we expect from Izumi World? If possible could you please share road map with us.
A: We have been working on Izumi World for about 6 months now. We are very excited for the future of Izumi World. In April we will be doing our Founding Trainer Pass NFT Drop. These NFTs will include special perks including many token airdrops. Then in Q2 we will be doing our IZUMI token listings on CEX and DEX exchanges. In Q3 we will be launching the Izumi Marketplace so our community can begin buying, selling, and trading our in-game assets to prepare for the full game launch. In Q4 we will be doing beta testing on our game and finalizing. Then we aim to release the full Izumi World game in Q1 2023.
Q: Now Share with us about your native token, What are the some of utilities of $IZUMI in Your Ecosystem? And if possible share with us the Tokenomics of $IZUMI and also what benefits you provide to incentivize users to choose your Platform?
A: Izumi World has a dual token model, namely:
– $IZUMI, which is the governance token, representing voting power in the game governance, resolution mechanisms, future evolutions of the game and control over Treasury; and.
– $TRNR (reads “trainer”), the currency token, which is used as means of exchange for in-game transactions (both for primary sales of assets and as means of exchange in the Izumi World Marketplace) and in-game rewards.
These tokens will also have additional functions, as they can be allocated to staking and liquidity pools.
Q: Staking is one of the most attractive way that exist through the DeFi system where users generate passive income. With that, can you tell us more about staking program and various ways through which users can participate in your staking program?
A: We have an active staking mechanism available for $IZUMI (governance token) holders. It’s a key driver for long-term value, as it represents trust in the project. In effect, there are two important advantages in staking: 1) it will enable those that stake to participate in governance, and 2) it will enable rewards in the form of $IZUMI and $TRNR (in-game currency token). For those that stake above a certain threshold, there will be additional incentives in the form of mystery boxes (which contain in-game assets). Users will also be incentivized for a longer period and will earn higher APYs as a result.
Q: Tell us more about the Ambassador Program and in what ways can we participate?
A: We will be doing these programs closer to launch. For now follow our communities and join our discord. We will be doing an nft sale that will give early adopters big perks such as in-game asset drops and 4% of supply token airdrop of both tokens to nft holders.
Q: Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not can u tell us, What makes your project different from other projects?
A: We have a development team of over 10 people with lots of gaming experience. We will be releasing an incredible game to the public. Our main focus is on the game.
Q: What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team leading the market?
A: We are the first AR metaverse and the first play and earn AR game
Q: Do you have any Coin Burn / BuyBack systems or any Token Burn plans to increase the value of Token & attract Investors to invest?

Q: NFTs is hot trending now, Do you have a play to have NFTs in your platform? If so, can you tell us the plans of your project in NFTs?
A: Yes, we will have NFTs. Izumi and in-game assets will be tradable NFTs. We are also doing an Nft drop in April!
Q:COVID 19 has slowed down many economies around the world but as a crypto business, does it affect you negatively or positively? Are you still on track to achieve your goals or are you planning a new development?
A: Since covid, everyone has stayed inside. Now, with Izumi World people can start to get back outside and socialize again. 🚀🎉
